How do I change language settings on windows?
What this will do change the language settings on Windows settings and programs only. This does not change the language on any installed programs or web pages. To change the language, go to: Start > Settings > Time & Language. Select Add Language
Select desired language and set as default.
You will need to restart the computer.
How to increase brightness?
Select Start , choose Settings , then select System > Display. Under Brightness and color, move the Change Brightness slider to adjust the brightness.
How to troubleshoot WIFI issues?
Please ensure the WiFi switch is on, for most of our units it will be on the physical sides of the unit look approximately like the following:
If this does not work, please ensure airplane mode is off; to verify this go to:
Start > Settings > Network & Internet. In the Airplane mode make sure it’s set to no.
How many computers are we able to purchase?
Each family may purchase up to 5 low cost computers.
Can I pay for the Computer on our Comcast bill?
No, the cost of the computer cannot be added to your Comcast bill.
What payment methods are available?
We accept, Debit, Visa or MasterCard, Prepaid Visa or MasterCard, PayPal, Money Order and Bank Draft.
What is the warranty?
All our Computers come with a 90-day hardware warranty and Free tech support for 90 days. If you have any warranty issues, call the number you will receive in the welcome package with your computer and we will be happy to assist you.
If there is a warranty issue, we will send you a postage paid return shipping label, you pack the computer in the original box and send it back to us. When we receive the computer we will send a replacement unit to you. If the issue is something as simple as a power cord (and still under warranty) we would just ship you another power cord and you could dispose off the original.
CDI’s Standard Warranty does not cover wear and tear, software related issues, defects caused due to negligence, accidents, unreasonable use, modification, tampering, natural disaster or any other causes not specifically related to defective materials or workmanship. Batteries are covered for 90 days and guaranteed to work in a Windows environment(a minimum charge of 30 minutes in a Microsoft Windows environment).

Do I get to pick a PC or a Laptop?
The choice is all yours. Both the Laptop or the PC come with similar specs, software, and warranty.The PC will also come with a monitor, keyboard, DVD Player and mouse. Both also come with 90-day hardware warranty and free tech support for 90 days. If you have any warranty issues, call the number you will receive in the welcome package with your computer and our customer service agents we will be happy to assist you.
What type of laptops and desktops are available?
All of the Computers that we refurbish are from Tier 1 manufacturers such as Dell, HP, Lenovo. Each system has at a minimum, a Core i3 processor, 4 GB RAM, and 120 GB Storage, DVD player (PC Only), wireless capable (Laptop Only), and power adapter. As well as Microsoft Windows 10 Operating system and Microsoft Office 2010 Home & Business.
What is the return policy?
You may return the computer within 14 days of receipt for a refund, however a $30 restocking fee will apply.
– You will be responsible for shipping the unit back in its original packaging at the location specified below.
– Once the computer has been received, the refund will be processed using the original method of payment.
– To return the computer, you must first contact our Customer Service team at 1-888-234-4272 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org and request a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
